Greg's sister, Cyndi, is a rockstar! Lets just start with that. A few years ago she was in a terrible bike accident that resulted in many facial reconstruction surgeries. To help her cope, she turned to running. This past March 2nd, she ran in her 4th Marathon! (I told you! Super Woman!) Greg and two of his brothers decided to do the half, and his oldest sister did the 10K. We decided to make a mini-trip out of it. We drove down Thurs night, stopping in Page, AZ for the night. Then we finished the drive Friday morning. We loved watching the thermostat climb as we left Utah and headed into Arizona. Friday morning before we left Collin and Greg went swimming at the indoor hotel pool. Collin was talking about it for weeks, so we couldn't say no!
Friday we went to dinner with all the adults. Collin stayed with his cousins. It was so fun to catch up and have some adult time! Then we got Collin and went back to the hotel to sleep. Greg had to be at the shuttle pick up before 5:15am. Collin and I slept til 7:30 and then drove down to the finish line. We were walking along the race line when I spotted Greg! So I put Collin down quick to snap some shots. Then we tried to find Greg. It was CRAZY! There were so many people. There were booths set up in and around the runners area which made a crowded place even more so. It made it hard to find anyone.
It was cool at first, but quickly warmed up. I think we all got a little sunburned. After finding Greg, we hung out. Collin tried the bounce house. We got a lot of free water. And we waited for Cyndi to cross the finish line. We went with Jon up the race route to see her come in. Greg ran the last little bit with her. Then after they cooled off, all the siblings got together for a picture. Collin and I went back to the hotel for naps. Greg came later and then we all went to the Taylor's for a BBQ.
Sunday we spent some more time at the Taylor's with Jon before he left. And later Cyndi and her husband Jason came over and we got to see them for a bit. Collin LOVED playing with his cousins. There was so much to do and he really loved having playmates.
Monday we slept in and went to the Sea Life Aquarium. We had been before when we lived in Arizona for the summer, and it was so much more fun with Collin being older. He wanted to check everything out! We headed to the Taylor's after school to have dinner. We ordered Oregano's! We have been CRAVING it since we moved. It is SO amazing! Collin played til he crashed.
Tuesday we went to the zoo. We got some Rally's on our way out and stopped for the night in Kanab. Collin and Greg went swimming at the indoor pool again. Collin loves to swim! He still is asking to go again.
We had a great time! It was so nice to get a break from the cold weather and nasty air. And it was amazing to see most of Greg's family!
Here's tons of pictures:

| Collin kept saying "Daddy won!" So he was number 1! |
| Collin playing in the bounce house. |
| Cyndi saw us and said "C'mon! C'mon!" Greg ran after her, and Collin REALLY wanted to, but I didn't so I let Collin run down the side walk; flailing arms and all! |
| Great pic of Cyndi before she crossed the finish line. |
| Greg and his brothers, David and Jon, after the half marathon. |

| "I wanna drive! I wanna drive!" |
| Fun little play area with large Little People animals in the Children's area. Collin really wanted his shoes off, but then hated that the sand stuck to them. |
| Collin was also obsessed with the map. He wanted to look at it and show us where to go, and he'd sing the Dora map song. So fun! |
