A few items

A few things before we move...
1st - Collin is silly! He's found a new way to "chew" his pacifier. I think he is using it as a teething ring (though we have four of those!)

We've started solid food. Rice cereal of course came first. He devoured it! Then we started with green beans, one of my favorites. At first he really didn't like it. Then he got used to it. When the food is warm, he eats it better. Now he's had green beans, carrots, bananas and rice cereal with apples. He just LOVES being a big boy!
Before we started the food, he'd look at whatever we were eating with envious eyes. He'd try to grab it and cry when we wouldn't give it to him. Now, we let him suck on some of our veggies and fruits. It keeps him, and us, happy!

Greg and Collin have matching ties! Greg thought I was silly for wanting them, but come on. They're adorable! And the ties aren't too shabby either!

Greg finally graduates from BYU

We decided that Greg didn't officially graduate from BYU until we hiked to the Y. So we chose a nice Saturday in May, and went during the evening with hopes that it would wear Collin out and wouldn't be so hot for us.

At first, Collin was loving it! Making noises and humming to himself as we hiked, and rested, and then hiked again. Man that trail is steep!

The Y! This was such a welcome site. We were almost there. And this is about when Collin lost it. No longer was this hike fun...

On our way down, Collin was VERY sleepy.
He slept great!

A post for May

Collin is 5 months now and getting to be such a big boy!

On May 10, we took a trip to the Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was packed; so many Mom's and kids. Greg felt like the only man in the place!
Grandma came to enjoy her first grandson!

Everyone loved watching Collin try to get the fish in the tanks. And Collin loved the attention!
That's Cassie, Grandma, Collin and Greg
This was in the Amazon area. The fish were as big as Collin!

We decided to see how Collin measured up to the smallest type of penguin.
Pretty close...

Family picture by our favorite exhibit...the PENGUINS!!!

It was a super fun trip! I love how interactive Collin is getting. Its so fun watching him grow up!
