July 2015

We started July off in Provo at the Price Family Reunion/Nanny & Papa's 50th Anniversary celebration.  It was SO much fun!  I didn't get nearly enough pictures (happens when juggling 2 little ones...)  We got there Tuesday night and had dinner with quite a few people at the hotel.  Wednesday some of the family hiked Timp.  The rest of us went to Provo Beach and had a blast!  Our kids didn't want to leave.  Thursday was Seven Peaks.  Again, we had so much fun.  Collin loved having cousins to play with, and Greg and I loved having helping hands for the two littles.  Friday was the main event.  We met at Rock Canyon park for water fun and lunch as well as a presentation by Nanny and Papa.  Greg was somewhat in charge of the day, and had booked a blow up bouncy water slide as well as set up a large slip n slide down the hill.  Both were well liked, but the slip n slide took the cake.  Everyone LOVED it!  There were a few mishaps and injuries, but all in all it was fun!  Saturday Greg, Collin and I ran the Freedom 5k in the morning with Greg's brother's family.  Then we took some large group pictures at the hotel.  Then we all went to Inside Out in the luxury recliners at the Megaplex.  So fun!  Then we took MORE pictures at the gardens at BYU.  Finally we all met for fireworks at the field by the stadium.  It was such a memorable trip!  In the middle of all the big activities we enjoyed having family just down the hall and Collin loved hanging out with cousins.  We also spent a lot of time at the pool.  Here's the pictures I have:

Papa and Grandchild #22 at Provo Beach Resort

Tate loved "playing" the games at the PBR (meaning we just pretended, didn't actually put money in and play.)

The group getting ready for fireworks.

Bailey with cousin Courtney!  Courtney was a huge help with our littles.  She even came to our hotel room at 6:30am to sleep with them while Greg, Collin and I ran our race!  She's awesome!

Enjoying ice cream before the fireworks.

Did some sparklers with cousins.

Just as the fireworks started, so did the sprinklers where we were sitting!  Most of us ran screaming out of the spray zone.  But a few ran toward the sprinklers to cover them.  One guy took off both his shoes to hold over the spray!  Within minutes they turned off, and we got to enjoy the show slightly damp.

Another monsoon hail/rain storm!

Bailey doesn't get much floor time with big brothers running around, but in that limited time she learned to roll over!

Right after she made it all the way over!

Binky buddies.  We really are trying to limit it with Tate, but anytime he sees Bailey with hers he needs his or he steals hers...

One day I taught the boys how to roll up in the blankets.  They wanted Bailey rolled up too.  And then they rolled and unrolled for an hour!

We went to visit Grandma and go to her awesome splash park!  Collin just really wanted to have a water fight, and found some friends to have one with after getting Grandma and Mom quite wet.

Filling up their cups.

Grandma getting Bailey in the water!

Tate loved this little fountain!

We went to see Minions as a family on $5 Tuesday.  Then we played in fountain for a minute.

And took our picture outside with the poster!

Then we BOUGHT A NEW CAR!  And this is the ONLY picture we have of it so far...  But its a 2012 Honda Odyssey.  We really didn't want a minivan, but we love it.  It's pretty awesome.

She's just SO cute!!

For the 24th we did a few fireworks in our front yard.

The first one we did exploded and some shrapnel hit Collin in the ear!

He stayed back after that.  Bailey was fascinated by the lights!
Its been a fun summer!  Can't believe there's only one month of summer left.  One month til we have a kindergartener!  Crazy!

The Wedding

It finally came!  So much preparing and planning and diy-ing!  And now its done.  Bittersweet, really.  It was a fantastic day!  Everything turned out so super great!  I was so happy!  I was also running around making sure things went smoothly and having a blast, so I didn't take ONE picture myself.  Whoops.  Luckily Cassie shared hers from her photographer (Sarah Urbina).  And they are amazing.  Here's the day in pictures:

We got ready in my aunts amazing bathroom with plenty of room for all of us!

Then my mom and I helped the bride into her dress.

Bridesmaids getting ready for the processional and helping the ring bearer (Collin) with his boutonniere.

Me and the Best Man.

The adorable ring bearer!

Bride and her father

Justin made the arch!

The vows were beautiful, and Justin had tears in his eyes pretty much the whole time.  So I did too.

LOVE this beautiful sister of mine!

The whole Smith family

Bailey just looked so super cute!

Cassie and Justin with our kiddos.

An example of the centerpieces we put together.  I made the pinwheels, and got the frames and pictures.  The flower lady really delivered!  Her flowers were gorgeous and fit perfectly with the venue and our vision.

Dancing with Dad! (my favorite part of weddings...)

And then we all got to dance the night away!  Greg and I danced a ton, and Tate joined in for the most part.  Bailey had lots of willing helpers to hold and snuggle her.  And she was on the perfect schedule for eating so I didn't have to miss anything!

Justin made cornhole boards; his sister made vinyl to decorate them; and I made corn bags.  This was a huge hit.

The entire bridal party with an awesome part of the decor for the night.  It really was such a fun day!

June 2015

Here's what we did in June!  (Besides Cassie and Justin's wedding...)

Grandpa and Grandma took us boating on Utah Lake!
Collin even rode the floaty!  And loved it!
It was a perfect day.  It was hot enough that you needed to get in the water, but not so hot that after you got out you'd get roasty and sweaty real quick.  Perfect!  I climbed in with Tate for a bit and he loved it!

Tate also loved "driving" with Grandpa

Tate loves to hold Bailey.  He asks all the time, "Hold Bae?"

Collin has to have a turn too!

Collin had Dad clip a rose from our rosebush.  Then he brought it to me because "I love you so much, Mom!"

We went to a new park (Sierra Newbold Park).  Tate and I were buddies and did all the fun things!  "Mom, come!"

Face painting from the catterpillar/butterfly unit at preschool summer camp!

A few times we walked to get Collin from preschool.  This time he was "too tired from playing" to walk home, so he hopped on the stroller.

Greg and I were carrying our new bathroom cabinets upstairs, and Tate grabbed a paint roller from the garage and smacked Bailey.  Poor girl!

Tate also found a marker...

We were outside weeding and playing and Tate wanted to hold Bailey, then Collin joined them on the chair.  Perfect picture!
