The week before Halloween we went to a local pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins for us to carve. It was getting late and it took Collin a while to go to bed that night, so we didn't end up carving them. And then we either forgot, or something came up the rest of the nights. Our beautiful pumpkins are STILL sitting on our porch, uncarved. Here's the pictures from our trip to the pumpkin patch:

I'd been hunting for really good deals on costumes since July, but I didn't find "THE" deal. In late August, the company Greg works for had a party. It was a 70's/disco theme, and we wanted to dress up. The day before the party we went to Saver's (a thrift store) to see if we could find anything that looked 70's. We found some stuff that would work, but spent $50 on both of our costumes. So after that, we decided that we'd reuse the costumes for Halloween. I decided to make Collin's costume, and a few things to complete Greg's costume. I couldn't find any patterns for a 70's costume, so I made my own. It was tricky, but I really had fun with it. Collin's pants were purple flare cords, and his shirt is fully lined (for warmth) and has the 70's winged collar. It turned out great! I made both of the boy's vests, and a headband for Greg and me.
We didn't do anything special for Halloween besides dress up. Earlier in the day, Greg took Collin to work for their Trick-or-Treating. Collin had a blast! He could run around and the people gave him candy! We went outside to take some pictures when they got back, but that's all. And we only got 2 trick-or-treaters so we have a whole (well now it's more like 1/2 full) bucket of candy. Here's the pictures:
