Pictures of the boys

When I was taking Tate's 6 month picture, I decided to take some of the boys since the lighting was pretty good.  Here's some of my favorites:

March stuff

The month of March.  Bringing the promise of spring and warmer weather!  We are so excited to be able to play outside more, plant our first garden, go on vacations, and most of all cold season is almost over!  Huzzah!  We've had more than our fair share of illness this past winter.  I hoping that its related to Collin going to preschool this year, and we'll have built up our immune systems and get less than our fair share next winter.  *fingers crossed*

Here's some things that we did in March:

Tate finally rolled over.  March 2nd.  Collin was rolling all over the floor and Tate really wanted to join him, but could't do it yet.  So I helped him a few times with Collin.  Then a couple of hours later that toy was just out of his reach, and he just rolled over to get it like it was nothing.  I gasped and grabbed my phone as quick as I could, so this is moment after he did it!

One of our neighbors chickens got over the fence and strutted around our backyard for 30 minutes or so.  We enjoyed watching it from inside.  Collin said we either needed to pick it up or teach it to fly.  He was so concerned!

Another movie night in the tent.

We saw Mr. Peabody.  Its become a tradition that when we see a movie we take a picture.  We saw this particular one because Collin earned it on his sticker chart!

Tate is teething, but prefers his binky to teething rings.

He is also loving standing up.  He doesn't pull himself up yet, but tries so hard!

While Greg had a guys weekend in Vegas (where he actually won money!), Collin, Tate and I went to Grandma and Grandpas.  We played at their house a lot, went to dinner, drove past the Payson temple, and went to church with them on Sunday.

Friend Austin and his mom came to play one day and Katrina and I built this awesome tower!  Then the boys knocked it down.  They loved that!

Tate LOVES his mama!  He loves to grab my face and give me big "kisses"!

Sunday night movie night on the futon mattress in the family room!

The boys in green for St. Patrick's Day, or as we called it "green day".

We even had a green dinner: green pancakes, green eggs, and a rainbow of fruits and veggies.  Should have taken a picture!  But Collin wouldn't touch any of it except for the purple grapes...
Tate is 6 months!  Half a year!  He is an easy baby; pretty happy with whatever.  The only thing we've found he doesn't like is pain and being sick (but really, who does?)  He is enjoying all the solid foods.  He wants whatever we're eating.  I've started sharing very small and soft bites of real food with him.  Carrots, potatoes, banana, grapes, just to name a few.  He loves his brother and can't wait until he is big enough to run around with him!  His bottom right tooth finally broke two days before he turned six months.  He's ticklish on his sides and in his armpits.  He can sit up without help.  He can't get himself to the seated position, but once there he stays up really well!  He can roll over, but doesn't do it much because a) he'd rather sit and b) his acid reflux acts up more when on his belly.  Yes, still has the acid reflux.  Hopefully its gone soon!  He gives big kisses.  And loves to touch peoples faces.  When he's being held, he'll just reach out and rest his hand on the person's cheek.  Its cute.  He's so sweet and so much fun!  We love him tons!

He is mister even-steven!  50th percentile for weight, height, and head size!

We finally celebrated Greg's birthday with my family at Buffalo Wild Wings.  They give you a free bottle of sauce when you go there for your birthday!?!  We had no idea!  We're so excited to try it!

February 2014

Here's what we've done in February:

Collin is learning to make his bed.  This day instead of just throwing all the animals back onto the bed like usual, he stacked them up tall!

He is *this* close to rolling over!

Learning to sit!
Sleeping with a buddy

Trying on sunglasses at the mall!

We got some tub crayons and Collin wanted pictures of the family drawn on the  wall.

Even including the friends and family who visited!

We saw The Lego Movie but couldn't find the standee for the movie, so this super hero one had to do!

This year is Greg's 30th!  I wanted to do something special to commemorate it.  I planned a surprise birthday party, but ended up telling him about it cause its hard for me to keep a secret from him!  I totally forgot to take pictures at the party, but it was well attended and lots of fun!  I also contacted his family, my family, and close friends for messages for him on his 30th birthday.  My plan was to collect them all and then put them into a book for a keepsake.  I didn't get as many as I thought I would, so I gave people more time, and just printed the ones that I did get by his birthday and gave him the papers with all the messages.  He LOVED it!  Totally teared up!  Sadly, I'm STILL waiting on some messages.  I'm about to the point of just leaving them out.

New shoes very much needed as the ones he was wearing were cracked and even had holes in the bottom.
See?!  It was a great gift!  I'm excited to get it put into a book.
We had brinner with special pancakes!  In case you can't tell, that says "Collin"
"30"

Collin brought home this cute Valentine from preschool.  It had all the pieces and we built the "snowman"!
Nanny and Papa sent the boys twin stuffed puppies.  They love them.  We named them Rosa and Rojo.

I'm pretty sure he is going to be heart breaker :)

Tate had his first rice cereal.  And as you can see, he was super excited!

And he loved it!  Still does.

Whipped up a pirate costume for Collin to go to a pirate party!
Tate is 5 months!  He hasn't rolled over yet, but he sure is close!  He loves to sit.  I bet he'll be doing that before he rolls!  He's had rice cereal, sweet potatoes and green beans.  He didn't like the beans so much.  But up next is apples!  He loves to giggle and "talk" and blow raspberries.

Collin and Greg set up the tent.  Tate and I stayed inside as we were still sick!
We needed to get out so we went to the dinosaur museum on Presidents Day, along with a TON of other people.  We still had tons of fun!

Collin loves to make friends!

Collin helping the skeleton people intimidate the mammoth.
One of my favorite pictures.  These boys LOVE each other!  They are best friends!
We went to the mall with Grandma and saw a giant Olaf and got "pink ice cream with m&ms"!
